Very funny, short fantasy sequence as Dex imagines what would ensue if he confessed his serial-killer proclivities to Deb. vinitwist
A moody fan-made video that does a nice job of explaining Dexter--who he is, how he became that way and how he continues to struggle in coping being a serial killer. babubatt
Wow. This newly-released Sarah Palin video is already nearing ONE million views?!?
Don't you think the remarks made by the Sarah lovers are pretty much in line with what many of her supporters sound like? It's not a surprise but still kind of puzzling not to mention at times deeply amusing (and a bit unnerving)--as in, "WTH are they thinking?(!)."
On
November 20, 2009, Sarah Palin visited Columbus, OH as part of her book
signing tour for "Going Rogue." When her supporters were asked broad
questions about why they why they thought she should be president, the
responses were vague: She's "real." She'll "stick up for America."
THERE ARE UNINFORMED OBAMA SUPPORTERS, TOO It
has been said in comments that we would find similarly talking
point-driven, substance-less supporters at an Obama rally, and we
agree. But no politician has emerged on the national stage as undefined
and unqualified as Sarah Palin, and her public persona--which is
anti-intellectual by definition--discourages substance. Instead, we get
winking. One could hardly imagine her giving a complex speech about
race in America, or speaking eloquently about our country's relations
with Islam. Not just because she couldn't write such a speech (Obama
has speech-writers, of course) but because she wouldn't--such
necessarily academic discussion is antithetical to the persona she's
created for herself and that her supporters have come to love.
CHERRY-PICKING As
for accusations of cherry picking, which are commonly thrown at
interview-based videos, it simply isn't what we did. We interviewed
only a few more people than ended up in the video, not hundreds, and
what was cut was done for time purposes. The people were selected at
random--some offered to be interviewed--and we were only there for
about 90 mins (it gets dark early and fast in Ohio right now). What
didn't make it into the video was just more footage of people talking
generically or about taxes/spending, drilling, and abortion, and we
constructed blocks in the piece to represent those issues. Of course
the piece was edited to be entertaining (this is YouTube, after all,
where the currency is cat videos) but we don't believe we
misrepresented the attitudes of the people at that signing in any way.

PORTLAND, Oregon (Reuters) - The United States' first marijuana cafe opened on Friday, posing an early test of the Obama administration's move to relax policing of medical use of the drug.
The Cannabis Cafe in Portland, Oregon, is the first to give certified medical marijuana users a place to get hold of the drug and smoke it -- as long as they are out of public view -- despite a federal ban.
"This club represents personal freedom, finally, for our members," said Madeline Martinez, Oregon's executive director of NORML, a group pushing for marijuana legalization.
"Our plans go beyond serving food and marijuana," said Martinez. "We hope to have classes, seminars, even a Cannabis Community College, based here to help people learn about growing and other uses for cannabis."
The cafe -- in a two-story building which formerly housed a speak-easy and adult erotic club Rumpspankers -- is technically a private club, but is open to any Oregon residents who are NORML members and hold an official medical marijuana card.
Members pay $25 per month to use the 100-person capacity cafe. They don't buy marijuana, but get it free over the counter from "budtenders".
Open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., it serves food but has no liquor license.
Though never taught to do so by Harry, current-day Dexter always take a trophy from his victims. This chapter of Early Cuts includes the very moment Dex decided to start collecting his keepsakes--and how his marine victim motivated him to do so.
Based on the synopsis and the preview it looked liked Gemma was going to give Jax dirt on Clay (no pun intended). Again, forgive for not having watched much of S1 of SOA yet (I'm going to as soon as S2 ends) so I'm lacking context, but does Gemma know Clay is responsible for John Teller's (Jax's father) death? It would seem "no" based on the Ausiello spoiler (below) which states that Jax's 'going nomad' must have been very short-lived as "after Gemma makes her reveal, it’ll seem pretty obvious that Jax is back in the gang and not going anywhere." This is definitely one of those things that makes you go "hmm."

Question: Any scoop on Sons of Anarchy now
that Jax is “going nomad”? I don’t even know what that means! Ausiello:
That makes two of us! I’m equally as lost about this next scoop: My
S.O.A. mole assures me that after Gemma makes her reveal, it’ll seem
pretty obvious that Jax is back in the gang and not going anywhere.
Question: Does Opie finally figure out who really killed his wife? Ausiello:
In episode 11, Tig makes a shocking confession about Donna’s death —
and Opie goes on a solo mission to seek revenge. In other news, Opie
officially starts a romance with that porn star from the Caracara
studio.
