Johnny receives an award for Most Anticipated Film, Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland in which Depp is the Mad Hatter. Depp later presents The Immortal Award to Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones.

Depp quotes Richards,"If you are going to kick authority in the ass, you may as well use both feet."

In the short Richards says, in reply to, "How do you survive it all?' (Richards overdosed on heroin on a near-regular basis for many years.) Richard's answer: "I dunno." I guess me luck hasn't run out, yet." Another interviewer queries, "What is your definition of Rock?" Without even a pause Richards replies, "Me."

Sons of Anarchy Season 2 : Ep. 207 Since The League has SAMCRO members behind bars, the club must make new alliances in prison to survive. Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Agent Stahl uses this imprisonment to test Jax and Clay’s relationship. I believe this is the episode where after being baited by Agent Stahl, Clay finally punches Jax and beats him pretty good until the old man tires, allowing Jax some leeway to catch up and land a few good ones on  stepdad. I think too (could be wrong since there is so much fighting on this show) that Charlie Hunnam lost his tooth during this fight sequence. Now, I'm not saying that it was the exact take that we saw in the the finished episode but I _do_ think from how Hunnam described it that it was during the part where "Hellboy" (Ron Perleman/Clay) threw him face-first against the cell bars. Ouch! Emergency dental surgery ensues!

Maggie Siff as Tara rocks that line. I totally fell for her in that moment! I'll be watching the bulk of S1 soon but it'll be tough to beat this utterance/overarching theme of SOA.

LOST Scoop: The Only Original Castmember NOT Coming Back For Season 6 / Dollhouse On Hiatus Until December

 
By "original (featured) cast member" I think the working definition has to be the conservative list of who you saw in the pilot. That excludes a lot of people, given LOST's sort of high body count (All the Tailies except Bernard and many others and all those Others, as well. So Jack, Charlie, Hurley, Sayid, Jin, Sun, Walt, Michael, Claire, Sawyer, Kate, Boone, Shannon, & Locke, right? Rose confuses me because wasn't she in the pilot? After days it seemed, Jack found her onshore down the way, insisting she was "waiting for Bernard."

I'm not voting but educated guesses go like. There are probably a number of deliberate red herrings(s) but I'll bite: Shannon.

The entertainment news people say they talked to Harold and he's working and happy--just not for LOST (yet) He states that  they are friends and sounds like he's convinced himself he should go back. But they've not asked him, he says. Not sure I'd reemploy an actor who responded to his LOST comeback by dissing the storyline and insinuating racism.

I think the writers at the end at least, really blew the Michael story. Part of the problem was indeed "Walt" and the fact that like everyone else--he could not age in the few Island months (first several seasons were only months in the show).

"Michael" seems to come up as "least-desired comeback character" in the polls I've seen floating around. As I've maintained, they slaughtered the character of Michael 1.By making a joke of him (Waaaaalt!!!) and especially, 2. When he killed both Libby and Ana Lucia in cold blood. No to the Michael character though I've liked a lot of Harold Perrineau's work.

This isn’t a good sign: Sources confirm to me exclusively that Fox has decided to pull Dollhouse off the schedule during November sweeps. Joss Whedon’s ratings-challenged drama is expected to return in December and air back-to-back episodes on Friday night. Bottom line: Barring a ratings miracle, Dollhouse will be shut down for good after it completes its current 13-episode order. Ausiello

I was really looking forward to the upcoming episodes so this news does not put FOX on the good side of my ledger. The Summer Glau arc is worth airing now! Dang.

Question: Is Emilie de Ravin going to be back on Lost for the whole season or just a few episodes? And will we get to see what happened to her? 

A: Ausiello: The answer to both of your questions is a resounding (yes!). Better prepare yourself though. My LOST mole says season 6 will showcase “a version of Claire we’ve never seen before — a Rousseau-esque version.”

We’ll be in need of a Rousseau fix since the real version will be MIA. According to a LOST insider, the French Lady’s portrayer, Croatian actress Mira Furlan, turned down the show’s request to return for the final season due to a “prior overseas commitment.”..

 

The meatiest bits for Furlan I thought, were when she was getting physical with Ben (Michael Emerson) during the big, dramatic freighter not-rescue. We had watched so much dirty behavior on his part that when Rousseau whacked him in the face (with the butt of her rifle once or twice, I think), every time, it was an almost comedic moment to see Ben get his.  LOST has continued with that sort of signature Ben always getting beaten to a pulp--then getting back up and going-about his- nefarious-activities thread.

It's pretty awesome to watch these two together. Oh, and be sure to listen to the end of the fan-made video even though the screen goes dark--Bruce is still talking. Obviously in the moment, and probably resulting in getting himself into some deep doo-doo later, he lets loose with a blurb about Patti's new record and other concession stand goodies including E-Street sex toys which (he and Patti) use "in the comfort of" their "own home and you now can use in the the comfort of your own home!" LOL.

I have in no way caught up with Sons of Anarchy, Season 1. To keep viewing extra pleasurable I'm going to segue right from Season 2's last episode into Season 1--so the withdrawal will be deferred for a few more months. I've read that I have had to have watched S1 to "get" S2 and I agree, it would have been really helpful with the added context. (Believe me, I can tell when I'm missing big chunks of storyline.) Anyway, part of the reason I'm posting this video is because it gives additional insight into both Tara and Jax and the complexities of their relationship.

I'd heard that Jax and Tara made love with the dead would-be rapist/stalker right there on the floor and sure enough, this video features that aspect. Just an additional dimension to the show and the couple, IMO. From the video maker:
