LOST~ Season 4 Finale : Episode 13 (Part 2/3) ~ "There's No Place Like Home" *SPOILERS*
The next montage for Season 4, LOST finale pics w/commentary.
I'm assuming you viewed the show so know that some of the Scooby gang, our Losties got off the Island.
It turned out with this two-part ending that most of the cool visuals came at the end and so too, were the cool screen caps.
The other screen caps from the first half of the 2-part LOST Season Four Finale are here, at another blog of mine. I decided to spread the LOST love a bit.
Moving on.
Kate with "Little Turniphead"
Bad Things happened over a short span of last moments, however the best was played by Yunjin Kim. Sun's screams--shrieks, really, reacting to the freighter exploding after just missing getting Jin into the copter, were spine-tingling.
So here is the Freighter exploding (CGI --not awesome) and Sun (and the other Losties with her) reacting to seeing Jin blown up--awesome.
\
Sun--on the freighter just prior to escape~
Jin misses his ride.
Stuntman/woman: Rule number One: Whenever possible, obstruct your face (Click to see how much _not_ like "Frank Lapidis" the actor's stand-in looks like.)
So the freighter was wired to a dead man's trigger and that "dead man" was Keamy courtesy of multiple stabs to the throat from Ben.
A Desmond reaction shot.
I guess it's sort of a big deal that this guy came to see Michael. The guys that wears Jack's deceased daddy's skin suit and "speaks" for Jacob.
This was a disappointing way for Michael's story to end and the actor who played him is unhappy.

Harold Perrineau has criticised the show's bosses over the short-lived return of his character Michael Dawson.
"I'm disappointed, mostly because I wanted Michael and [his son] Walt to have a happy ending," he told
TV Guide
, speaking about the explosive demise of Michael in the fourth season finale. "If I were writing it, I would write it differently."
"I thought it was disappointing and a waste to come back, only to get beat up a few times and then killed. I felt like it was sort of pandering to some fans who wanted to see Michael punished because he betrayed people."
Perrineau, who also stated that he would make more appearances if the storyline was to his liking, added that he was shocked to discover Michael was being killed off: "I had no idea. It's like, what the hell? I came back for that?"
Just prior to the handful of Losties taking off on the helicopter piloted by Frank Lapidis,
Evangeline Lilly ,
Josh Holloway
Hurley (Jorge Garcia) is happy to see everyone. :)
It seems all the dead people like to visit him
Do you think maybe it's because Hurley is Hurley?
I
think both Evangeline and the make-up people a good job of conveying
what almost four months on the Island would do to a pretty woman. Age
her three years!
Blech! Flirting over a corpse.
...and a gut wound. :p
Pilot Frank Lapidus (Jeff Fahey).
Uncuffing the pilot does wonders for his flying abilities! lol.
Sayid (Naveen Andrews.)in the co-pilot's seat. Always.
Pretty. :)
Photo manipulation~
Very pretty though this is the first time I've really seen her caps on the two front teeth.
There was more cleavage in this episode (not only on Evangeline Lilly, seen here) than there'd been the whole season prior to the strike.
All the ladies on the show looked lovely, however. :)
This is "The Escape: Kate".
This is "The Escape: Hurley".
There's too much weight-- something (one) must go.
Trouble! A fuel leak from an errant bullet. Got's to drop some weight. Of course (cliche!) Hurley looks guilty.
Wisely, they did not toss out the life jackets. Soon they'd need them.
There is no sense making the jumping pictures bigger--they are totally fake. But feel free to click them to see for yourself. Kind of rushed I imagine this last part of production was (due to the strike running up to it).
He's just asked her what she is celebrating. She's giving him "the look."
Then she realizes that indeed Sawyer is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
However he catches on quickly.
This is the last we see of them, sky gets pink, there's a loud noise and this is where we leave the two.
They've given Sawyer another pretty lady to annoy.
Hurley spotted the freighter first
Before crashing, the helicopter touched down on the Freighter--before it blew up.
Desmond tried to warn them away, knowing the freighter was about to go "BOOM!"
Persuading Kate to get back on the 'copter since they've gotten some fuel and have to go NOW!
Meanwhile on the Island, John as instructed by Ben at Orchid Station, goes in search of his "people."
Locke's people await, cooking up something yummy no doubt, to celebrate the coming of their new leader.
This is the last we see of Richard, Locke, and their people, sky gets pink, there's a loud noise and this is where we leave them.
We'll pick up tomorrow (later today) 'cos it's 3 a.m. and I still have a ton of email. Cheers!
C.
